Tutorial Series and Mini Contest

I'm not sure why, but we've been getting a lot of duplicate submissions. I'm not sure if this is a dA glitch or if people are submitting things twice. Please do not double submit! I was away over the weekend as the last journal stated, and even when I'm in town, I do get busy in the evenings from time to time. When it takes me a while to accept, its often because I am thinking about your image. I take time to think before declining or accepting an image, I really go over the pros and cons or why I'm on the fence, and I try to give constructive criticism whenever photos are declined rather than accepted. You will all get a response from me.

Mini Contest: Basic Editing

Theme: Basic Editing
Deadline: January 30, 2012
Description: Show us you know your stuff! Watch the above tutorials and give it a go editing your wildlife, zoo, or pet photographs. Start from the begining will a well composted photograph then fine tune it well in post-processing.
Prize: The winners will receive a feature in next week’s Weekly Wednesday Article.
How to Enter: SUBMIT your entry to the FAVORITES folder labeled “Basic Editing Jan 2012”. You may submit TWO entries that best exemplify proper technique, composition, and editing skills. Entries do not have to be new to the group. All entires must meet standard submission requirements!
